October 11, 2026 : Santa Rosa County, Florida Hurricane Isaias

The First Response Team is currently in Florida helping communities recover from Hurricane Isaias. Downed trees are everywhere, stretching across the region. Thankfully, many homes remain intact, but the cleanup is overwhelming.

For many families, insurance doesn’t cover this type of cleanup, and hiring a company to remove the trees is simply more than they can afford.

Yesterday, we helped a family whose friends had come together to clear their property. With a baby on the way, the family was facing the added burden of cleaning up all the fallen trees. They were doing their best with the help of friends, but they needed equipment to handle the heavy lifting.

We were glad we could step in, help clear the debris, and ease some of that burden. Their gratitude was a reminder that recovery isn’t just about removing trees and debris. It’s about people showing up for one another when they need it most.
