September 6, 2018 : Northeast Flood Response

Throughout the summer of 2018 multiple communities in the Northeast have been devastated by floods, and sadly some communities were hit twice just weeks apart. When hundreds of homes flood, one way to really make a difference is to help communities remove all of their destroyed belongings. Not only is it hazardous to their health to keep the debris around, but it is mentally overwhelming to be surrounded by what remains of their homes. Removing the debris quickly from homes and the streets gives the community a sense of normalcy that is hard to find when a disaster like this happens.
